Mewar University celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great Zeal

Department of Pharmacy, Mewar University got the opportunity to celebrate 2nd Oct, the day of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jyanti. This day is celebrated in almost whole India to remind ourselves with principles of Legendary Personalities. Their lives were simple yet went onto become source of inspiration for millions.
The programme was started with the patriotic group song sung by Peerzada Sohail and Mudassir Ahmed, which was refreshing start up for the evening.
Jayesh Gadhiya presented his valuable speech on life and morals of GandhiJi. Really, Mahatma Ji was the great freedom fighter who always followed non-violence all through his life while leading India for the Indepedence from the British rule.
To make the environment some more enjoyable and light Hilal presented a poem based on an incident in chemistry lab which covered various aspects of Chemistry Lab and had smiles on the faces of audiences.
Then, Sajjad and Noorani presented a very simple looking but very elegant dance which was based on a song of Laddakh. This gave our audiences rare opportunities to witness such a unique dance performance.
Coming to heart of the programme, Pharmacy students presented a mime which was hilarious yet brilliantly synchronized by the students. It was enjoyed thoroughly and received roaring applause from viewers.
After this, group dance was performed on a patriotic song by Sangeeta & group. The trio dazzled the audience with their alluring performance.
Then, Sajjad Hussain performed a solo song and he was supported by guitarist, Imdanglemba. It was delightful performance by the duo.
It was then followed with a group song performed by Ashwini Group. Their performance was wonderful and trio did a great task to depict their love for Bapu.
It was followed by a energetic Punjabi Dance Performance by Gurvinder Group. They covered the whole stage up and it was nicely choreographed and performed by the students.
The show was concluded by motivating speech of honorable dean Mr. R.K. Paliwal. We were enlightened with his valuable thoughts and there could not have been any better virtuous conclusion of this programme.
